This traditional vintage French solid copper oval casserole pot is a heavy duty kitchen utility pan complete with its matching fitted copper lid. The thick gauge polished copper body has an oval shape designed for slow cooking stews, lined with a traditional grey tin coating on the inside and lid. Three cast brass handles are secured firmly with solid copper rivets, including two side loop handles on the basin and one curved handle on the lid. The exterior copper surface holds the original stamped country of origin mark reading Made in France right next to the chunky brass handle attachment point. It is structurally solid and in excellent used condition with the metal completely stable, showing several cooking stains and scratches as detailed across the listing photos and revolving video.
