This vintage French kitchen jam pan is made from hammered copper with Fabrication Francaise (Made In France)stamp of quality next to the handle, showing a map of France surrounded by the makers text. The tapered, flared body is made of solid copper with a hand hammered texture on the sides and a smooth flat bottom for stove stability. The upper rim is fitted with two dark cast iron handles secured tightly by copper rivets. The exterior has a bright polished copper surface, while the unlined interior shows the clean hammered indentations. The pan is in great used condition with a few minor dents as shown in the photographs and revolving video. It measures 36.5cm in diameter across the upper rim, spreads to 45cm wide including the side handles, stands 10.5cm deep, narrows to a 27.5cm base diameter and weighs 1.3kg.
