This vintage religious little chalkware statue depicts Our Lady of Lourdes standing with her hands clasped in prayer and a blue sash draped over her white robe, complete with a detailed hanging rosary, a gold coloured collar necklace, and bare feet resting atop a rocky base adorned with a red rose and a stream.The figure has a finely hand painted face, highlighting the expressive features. On the back of the plinth it is embossed with the makers name Chamayou. It is in excellent used condition (it has been stored in a box of straw since the 1960s)as illustrated in the video & photographs and measures 22cm tall, 5cm by 4.5cm at the base and weighs 240g.
