This elegant vintageIndian silver plated brass Gulabdani rosewater sprinkler has a traditional hand engraved stippled botanical design with stylised geometric leaf motifs across its bulbous body and a long ringed column tapering to a pierced nozzle top. Historically used to sprinkle a fine mist of scented rosewater over guests as a traditional gesture of welcome and hospitality during weddings, festivals, and religious ceremonies, the long neck unscrews smoothly from the bulbous lower chamber for easy filling. The silver tone surface has a beautifully aged patina that enhances the intricate metalwork. It is in excellent antique condition with no dents or damage to the metal structure as shown in the photographs and revolving video. The sprinkler measures 24.5cm in height with a maximum diameter of 8cm across the widest part of the bulbous body and weighs 200g.I have listed another matching if you need a pair.
