Lima BR Mk1 Coach Modified to TPO Sort Van Royal Mail NUX 80457 - OO Gauge
Very unusual and interesting modified Lima British Rail Mk1 coach which has been completely repurposed into a Travelling Post Office Sort Van in classic late 1980s / early 1990s Royal Mail livery. Numbered NUX 80457.
Please take a close look at all photos for details of modifications, overall condition etc. We have included lots of close-up images to enable buyers to understand the nature of the alterations, paintwork etc. Most of the bodywork changes appear to be scratch made rather than using any type of kit. Painting appears to be by hand so please bear this in mind, livery and lining appear to be from transfers or a very well hand-painted job. Overall condition we would assess as generally fair to good but please do look at all photos to form your own view before purchase. This is obviously not finished to the standard of a modern Bachmann mail coach, for example, but is certainly a more realistic depiction than Hornby's operating TPO coach in the same livery.
