Select Snack is a plump, appetizing soft plastic worm featuring a highly voluminous, deeply ribbed tail. Its numerous segments create natural, lifelike vibrations during retrieval, making the lure especially attractive to predatory fish.
The deep ribs in the tail trap tiny air bubbles that rise during pauses, causing the tail to lift almost vertically. This unique effect gives the lure an additional natural presentation even when it is stationary.
The most effective rigging options for Select Snack are a hinged (articulated) rig with a single or offset hook. A relatively short double hook can also be used, preferably made from thin wire to preserve the worm's natural action.
The lure features a wide nose section that provides a secure hold on the hook and helps prevent the bait from sliding down after a strike. A specially designed groove in the body allows the point of an offset hook to be concealed, making Select Snack suitable for fishing in heavy cover and other challenging spots.
The primary targets for Select Snack are perch and zander of various sizes. In addition to the standard rigging options, the lure is also highly effective when used with a drop-shot or Texas-style / Carolina-style presentation, depending on fishing conditions.
Select Snack Nano is a miniature version of the popular Snack worm, specifically designed for Ned? [No — micro/nano jig] enthusiasts and delicate micro-jig fishing. Available in 0.7" and 1" sizes, this tiny lure can be a real lifesaver when fish ignore larger presentations.
The geometry of Snack Nano closely follows the original model. Ring-shaped ribs cover the entire body, generating additional vibrations while giving the soft plastic a supple, natural texture that fish can easily detect.
The main advantage of the Snack Nano series is its versatility. In addition to perch, this micro worm works exceptionally well for a variety of freshwater species. Rudd, crucian carp, bream, and roach can all be attracted by the realistic movement and subtle presentation of this miniature soft bait.
The thin tail responds to even the slightest movement of the rod, producing delicate vibrations that can trigger bites from cautious or inactive fish. Made from scented, attractant-infused edible soft plastic, Snack Nano encourages fish to hold onto the lure longer and take it more confidently.
For the best results, use minimal jig weights of up to 1–1.5 g combined with very fine, lightweight hooks. This setup allows the Snack Nano to display its most natural action and is ideal for finesse fishing when a subtle presentation is essential.
