The tools we sell are antiques, in many cases well over 100 years old. As such, there will be all manner of dings, dents, and imperfections one would expect to see on a tool of this age. We do our best to take photos and list in the description any significant issues. That being said, we are not experts and the photos take precedence over any errors in the text, title, or description.
