Yogi Berra New York Yankees 2010 Old Timers Day wool jersey.
Commissioned by Ebbets Field Flannels, it is a large.
At its 2010 OTD, the Yankees honored the 60th anniversary of its 1950 World Series team.
This is not a retail jersey. It was custom made by EFF, same as the jerseys worn on field by surviving members of the 1950 team.
While the former players participating in the OTD game were uniformed in Majestic game jerseys, the Yankees commissioned Ebbets Field Flannels to recreate the cream-colored wools that were worn in 1950.
This is an identical jersey to what Yogi Berra would've worn that day had he attended (he suffered an unfortunate fall at his home the night before and couldn't make the ceremony). Featured on the jersey are both George Steinbrenner and Bob Sheppard memorial patches; both died in the days leading up to OTD 2010.
In the last 2 photos, you can see the contrast in color between the home whites and the cream wool jerseys worn by the players from 1950.
