I am selling off some of my stash of unbuilt model airplane kits. Up for auction is Kovozavody Prostejov KP#10, which is their old 1/72 scale Avia S-199. I’m not sure of the age of the kit, there is no date on the box or papers, but the box says made in Czechoslovakia, so it’s from 1993 or earlier. The box is in excellent condition, showing some shelf wear on the corners, but the colors and printing are all bright and clear with no fading. The plastic is complete except for the stand many of the parts still on the sprue but some are loose in the box. There is flash on some sprues. The decal sheet is in excellent condition, there is no signs of drying, cracking or yellowing. The instruction sheet is also in excellent condition. Since these kits come from the factory completely unsealed or bagged, I’m listing it as used, but it is in excellent condition. The decal sheet has markings for 3 Czech AF aircraft, all in a dark grey-green color. 1- S-199 #189, IF-01, with a bulged canopy and red spinner, 2- S-199 #238, LS-15, with a bulged canopy, a white cowl band and blue spinner, and 3- S-199 #486, with flat canopy and a dark green spinner. The last choice also adds a personal marking. Refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions.
