I am selling off some of my stash of unbuilt model airplane kits. Up for auction is Italeri #2728, which is their 1/48 scale Republic P-47D “Bubble Top” Thunderbolt, from 2013. The kit is brand new and still sealed in its original plastic wrap. There is a small tear in the plastic wrap, but there is no sign of damage to the box or any signs of water exposure. I believe this is a rebox of Academy’s P-47D kit. The box shows 4 marking options, all from the Italian Campaign in WW II. There are 2 USAAF aircraft both in unpainted natural metal, and 1 French FFA, and 1 Brazilian FAB aircraft, both in olive drab over neutral gray. Refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions.
