Striking aerial chrome view of River Downs in Cincinnati, Ohio, sweeping over the 1-mile main dirt course and the 7/8-mile Green Carpet Turf Course, with grandstands packed with spectators and vast parking lots brimming with mid-century American cars. Published by Fas Foto Inc. of Cincinnati and printed in rich color by Plastichrome (Colourpicture Publishers, Boston). A clean, unused example of this Ohio thoroughbred racing landmark.
Unused chrome card in clean, presentable condition. A small handwritten notation (likely an inventory or price mark) appears in the stamp-box area; no postal use, no writing in the message area.
How a card ships depends on its price, and the rate is shown on every listing before you buy.
Buying more than one? They travel together in a single well-protected package, and shipping is charged per card at the rate shown on each listing. On a larger order we will often upgrade the whole lot into one tracked stay-flat package at our own cost — you are never charged more than the rates above.
Scanthology specializes in carefully digitized vintage paper. Every card is scanned at high resolution, stored flat, and shipped protected. Questions welcome -- thanks for looking!
