I am selling off some of my stash of unbuilt model airplane kits. Up for auction is Heller #554, which is their 1/48 scale Republic F-84F Thunderstreak. This is the first issue from 1979, according to Scale Mates database. The box is in very good/excellent condition, there is very slight shelf wear on the corners. The plastic is all still on the sprue and sealed in its original plastic bag. The clear sprue is in the bag with the other plastic, the pilot is loose in the box. The instruction sheet is in excellent condition, there are no holes, tears, marks, stains or writing on it. The decal sheet looks to be in excellent condition for its age, there is no signs of yellowing, drying, cracking or water damage. The decal sheet has markings for 3 aircraft. First is F-84F-51-GK #52-9068, a General Motors built unpainted, natural metal aircraft of the French Armie de l’Aire E/C-1/9”Limousin” coded 9-AU, at Luxeuil during 1961. Second is F-84F#unknown, in dark gray/green over unpainted aluminum of the West German Luftwaffe JABO 33 coded DC-323, at Buchel during 1962. Third is F-84F also # unknown, in dark gray/green over light gray of the Belgian “Force Aerienne Belge” 2nd FB Wing coded 052 and FU 52, at Florennes during 1965. Refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions. I do allow free local pickup(in Tucson and Sedona), and if you win multiple auctions/purchases I will combine shipping.
