OUTSTANDING PLUS-- While not an unplayed/same as new set (see my others) this box set of 10 lp records is outstanding. All I can see are a few faint rub marks, no scratches. The ones that look like an eraser lightly rubbed a mark. I usually clean used records with a DISCWASHER kit to remove dust and oils (and many marks) but these had so little dust I prefer to leave it to the buyer to clean as they prefer. Complete with the book and all 10 records and sleeves, this is a MUST for any fan of WW2 era music. Thats Big Band and Swing with names like Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Sammy Kaye, Duke Ellington, Guy Lombardo, Xavier Cugat, Ozzie Nelson, Fats Waller, Les Brown and over 25 others. The sides are organized chronologically from 1936 to 1945 and the majority of the music was influenced by WW2 as this was a time when the entire world was engrossed in the largest scale war ever. While the USA remained free of any fighting, 100s of thousands of Americans were involved, including many of the artists in this set.
