The 300^th anniversary of the Robinson Crusoe story is beautifully commemorated with this three coin set, depicting three different scenes from the classic novel.  Each 40 mm coin is selectively plated with 24 karat gold and fine silver over copper-nickel.  The coins are dated 2019 and have a legal tender value of 25 cents in Barbados. Life on the island - Robinson sets up a cross where here writes down the date he arrived. For every day on the island he carves a line into the wooden cross. He is accompanied by a dog and a parrot .

Robinson meets Friday - Robinson rescues a man from the cannibals. To honor the day they met he calls him Friday. They become friends and Friday learns the English language. They are sitting in front of the hut they created on the island.
