Dedicated to the Duke of Argyll from St. Leonard's College, St. Andrews.

• Binding/Spine: Poor / Fair condition. The brown cloth spine is heavily damaged, split, and chipped away along the hinges.

• Repairs: Clear adhesive tape has been applied along the outer hinge/spine by a previous owner to keep the front board attached. Edge and corner wear present on the boards.

This is an excellent reading, reference, or restoration copy of a landmark 19th-century physics text.
