Usability

Simply connect – scan immediately. Thanks to Keyboard wedge (or USB if selected), the device works without a driver – just like a keyboard. The target marking makes targeting easier, even with difficult barcodes, and the CodeGate button prevents error messages caused by accidental detection. A green confirmation point signals successful reading.

David Hanisch provides the consumer with a functional guarantee under the following conditions. “Consumer” for the purposes of this guarantee is any natural person who is the owner of the product purchased directly from David Hanisch. This also applies to companies or commercially active individuals who use the technical device themselves or through their own employees as part of their commercial or independent professional activity. This warranty is in addition to any statutory warranty and is subject to applicable law. If services are provided under the guarantee, the guarantee period is not extended nor does the guarantee period begin again. The guarantee always begins on the day the electrical appliance is purchased from David Hanisch

Services
In the event of a defect in your product purchased from David Hanisch covered by this guarantee, David Hanisch guarantees with this guarantee the repair, replacement of the product or reimbursement of the value of the device.

The decision between repairing or replacing the devices rests with David Hanisch. In this respect, the guarantor may decide, at its own discretion, to replace the device sent in for warranty repair with a device of equal or higher quality free of charge.

In the event of a hardware failure covered by this warranty, the defective component will be replaced or repaired free of charge to restore operation. If a repair does not make commercial sense (e.g. because the repair value exceeds the current value), we can, at our own discretion, replace the defective device with a device of identical construction and of equal or higher quality or refund the purchase price paid.

The guarantee does not cover:

The contractually agreed guarantee services include not backing up or installing the operating system, application software, system configuration and user data. It is your responsibility to provide and install updates/upgrades of BIOS drivers/operating software or firmware regardless of faults.

It is also your responsibility to regularly perform comprehensive backups, including backup of application and operating system software.

Consumables such as batteries and accumulators, as well as typical wearing parts.
Damage caused during transport and installation
Fragile parts such as display panels
Operating errors, damage caused by using incorrect media (glued VHS tapes, etc.)
Damage caused by aggressive environmental influences
If the repair turns out to be an error that is not covered by the warranty, David Hanisch reserves the right to invoice the customer for the costs incurred in the form of a handling flat rate as well as the repair fee for materials and labor based on a cost estimate.

David Hanisch does not accept any guarantee for failure and damage caused by external influences, accidental damage, improper use, changes made to the device, conversions, extensions, use of third-party parts, neglect, improper transport, improper packaging or loss when the device is returned to David Hanisch.

The guarantee expires if the fault on the device was caused by maintenance or repairs carried out by someone other than David Hanisch. The guarantee also expires if the guarantee sticker (if present) is removed or have been removed or a component of the device has been changed or made illegible.

If problems occur with devices that are covered by the warranty explained above, the consumer must contact David Hanisch Service:

After receipt of the package, the contents will be checked by David Hanisch and the customer will be informed about the status of the warranty case. the repaired device is sent back to the customer. Please ensure that your device is packaged safely for transport if it is necessary to return it. The guarantor assumes no liability for additional materials sent in that are not part of the original scope of delivery of the David Hanisch device. Please provide us with as detailed a description of the error as possible with the device.

Legal Rights
In addition to the rights under the guarantee, the consumer is entitled to legal rights. These rights, which may be more favorable for the consumer, are not restricted by the guarantee. The guarantee also does not affect the rights that the original purchaser and, if applicable, the consumer have against the manufacturer from whom the original purchaser purchased the product.

Place of performance and applicable law
This guarantee is subject to German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) of 11. April 1980 application. The place of performance for the obligations arising from this guarantee is 15517 Fürstenwalde, Germany.
