This elegant Roberts silver-plated serving dish features a classic gadrooned domed lid and a sturdy footed base supported by four ornate lion mask and paw feet. Constructed using the traditional "silver on copper" technique, this piece reflects a refined aesthetic common in mid-century English-style hollowware. The removable domed lid opens to reveal a rectangular serving area suitable for butter, hors d'oeuvres, or small side dishes.

Condition: Good vintage condition with heavy tarnish throughout, requiring polishing to restore original shine. Visible plate wear where the copper base metal shows through is present on the interior tray surface and high-contact points of the feet and rim. Surface shows minor light scratches consistent with age and use. No dents, deep gouges, or structural repairs observed.
