A colorful 1908 divided-back postcard depicting St. Mary's Hospital in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, published by S. S. Kropp Co. of Milwaukee (No. 4469). The card was mailed the same year by Elsie Donner of Oshkosh to Miss Amanda Wollenburg in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, with a cheerful holiday-season note. The Victorian Gothic hospital building — complete with turret, cross finial, and red-tile roofline — is rendered in warm multicolor lithography.
Postmarked Oshkosh WI, Nov 27, 1908 with a flag machine cancel; 1-cent green Franklin stamp affixed. Colorful multi-color printed card has tape damage/residue at the upper right corner of the front, diagonal surface scratches across the building image, and light soiling/staining on the reverse; the scene and all text remain legible.
