These are pretty heavy duty and look to be about 3/64ths thick or just under 1/16" material. 

Exact gauge unknown.

How do these work?

These are very common in Florida and other areas that use an engineered truss design roofing systems.The trusses end squared off and not plum at the facia. In order to install a gutter these are required. They plumb the gutter to the facia, allowing rain water to properly enter the gutter and not run right past the gutter. This is also much more aesthetically pleasing as you can imagine.

Measurements

The back measures about 3-5/8"

Base of triangle is about 2-1/2"

Hypotenuse of triangle is roughly 4-1/4"

Inside between fins is about 1"
