This mid-century souvenir tie clip features a beautifully detailed, circular hand-painted enamel medallion depicting a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer in his traditional red serge uniform on horseback, carrying a flag. The word "CANADA" is clearly displayed across the top of the medallion.The medallion is mounted on a striking, gold-toned alligator-style clip with a textured geometric design. The back of the mechanical spring arm is stamped with the vintage patent number: PAT. 2853751, which dates the structural hardware back to the late 1950s/1960s era.

Overall Condition: Very good vintage condition with beautiful aging.

Enamel Medallion: The painted artwork is sharp and vibrant with minimal wear.

Metal & Clasp: The gold-tone finish shows minor surface patina consistent with age. The spring-loaded alligator teeth mechanism functions perfectly, offering a strong and secure grip.
