There is an "N" below the large "M". This variety is attributed to Theodore, brother of Heraclius who
commanded Byzantine forces in Palestine confronting the initial Muslim
troops in the 630s This coin would be product of a temporary mint supporting a military campaign in Neapolis.
This attribution to Neapolis in Palestine is by no means certain. In any case this type with the "N" is rare.
