I recently managed to acquire a small collection of silver agricultural prize medals and I am now putting these medals up for sale.

This item is:

Large solid silver agricultural prize medal from the 1960s.

The front of the medal depicts a busy farmyard scene depicting a horse, bull, pig, sheep, geese, chickens & a plough.

The obverse is engraved:

"S.N.F.S.C. CHAMPION HIGHLAND 1968. WALKER"

Silver Medal: Weight: 47.7 gm. Diameter: 50 mm. The medal is not hallmarked but has been personally tested as solid silver. Maker's Mark (embossed above plough image): William James Dingley.

Summary: Early agricultural medals are highly collectable & this is a superb example. I am happy to start the listing at just £65 but I have included a Buy it Now option if a buyer is not prepared to wait. Good luck!
