I was fortunate recently to be able to acquire a good collection of antique & vintage sterling silver cycling prize fob medals dating from the 1890s up to the 1960s. I am now putting these medals up for auction at very reasonable starting prices (ofter below the sterling silver scrap price) but with a Buy it Now option for anyone who does not wish to wait.

This example is:

A sterling silver & enamel cycling medal/badge from the 1930s.

The front of the medal has a raised central roundel. In dark blue enamel it is embossed:

"BOLTON CTC"

The obverse is engraved:

"24 HOUR 1936. E. JONES"

Sterling Silver Medal/Badge: Weight: 9.6 gm. Diameter: 27 mm. Hall Mark: Birmingham 1936. Maker's Mark: William Hair Haseler.

Summary: As can be seen from the photos this is an attractive & collectable vintage sterling silver cycling medal/badge. Good luck!

NOTE: Please see my other listings of sterling silver cycling medals. If more than one medal is purchased please wait until you receive an invoice before paying as I am happy to combine postage.
