The obverse depicts, portrait of Queen Elizabeth on the right, Government of Hong Kong (香港政府), Serial number. These notes are legal tender for the payment of any amount, One Dollar (壹圓), the issue date Hong Kong 1^st July, 1952, for the Government of Hong Kong and Finical Secretary signature at the middle. Value at center and to the left in Chinese, English and Latin. Four denominations marked in corners of design, two in Arabic numerals (1) and two in Traditional Chinese (壹).
