These two piece are Uncirculated Condition (UNC) with two consecutive serial numbers BP224152 and BP224153.

 

This banknote bears black, blue and light blue multicolored underprint.

 

The obverse depicts a contemporary drawing of the Bank of China (中國銀行) headquarters in Hong Kong on the right-hand side and a smaller, much simpler drawing of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on the right. Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, promises to pay the bearer on demand at its office here, Fifty Hong Kong Dollars, By order of the board of directors, Chief signature and issued date Hong Kong 1^st January 2007 at middle. Three denominations of fifty dollars in Arabic numerals (50) on top-left, middle and bottom-right. Blank space on right for the watermark (水印).

 

The reverse depicts Bank of China Hong Kong (中國銀行(香港)有限公司) at top and a contemporary landscape drawing of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre next to the old railroad station clock tower and the Hong Kong Star ferry pier and surrounding scenery at left and center. One denomination written in Traditional Chinese fifty Dollars (港幣伍拾圓) at lower-left, three denominations written in Arabic numerals fifty Dollars (50) one in middle, one on top-right and one on bottom-right. Blank space on right for the watermark (水印). and two denominations in Arabic numerals on top and bottom right.
