For your consideration is a Japanese market Tiemco Fenwick FF79.5 7'9" 5 wt 5 pc Fiberglass Fly Rod - Pack Rod - Travel Rod. This is a nice progressive fiberglass fly rod that would make an ideal backpacking of travel fly rod for just about any species. The finish on the rod is outstanding. The ferrule fit is excellent with very little wear. The cork grip is smooth. As you can see in the photos, I used Elmers waterproof wood filler in a small crevice in the cork. This will blend in with use and you won't even remember that it is there after just a few time fishing. The rod weighs 2.9 ounces on my kitchen scale.
