Antique Late Qing Dynasty Chinese Embroidered Silk Informal Robe (c. 1880s–1900s)
An authentic late Qing Dynasty woman’s informal silk robe (chengyi / danpao style) tailored in a vibrant coral-orange silk ground. The body and wide sleeve bands are intricately decorated with fine hand embroidery depicting stylized flowers, trailing vines, phoenixes, and traditional auspicious motifs. The collar and cuffs feature detailed decorative borders on a contrasting off-white silk ground, and the piece is lined with dark navy silk.
