Vintage Jean Picquot K3 Kettle, Sycamore handle,  Art Deco Designed in 1938

Design & Manufacturing: Designed in 1938 by John D. Souter for Burrage & Boyd. Production was delayed by WWII and officially began in 1946–1947.

Materials: The body is made from magnalium, a specialized alloy of aluminium and magnesium developed to achieve a high "silver-like" shine.

Key Features: It features a heat-resistant sycamore wood handle and was cast in one piece to minimize leaks.

Branding: Initially sold under the "Newmaid" name, it was rebranded as Picquot Ware in 1951.

Body: Cast magnalium (a blend of aluminum and magnesium).
Finish: Highly polished, mirror-like exterior with no plating.
Handle: Sycamore wood 
Base: Solid cast construction designed to retain heat.
condition: some light water marks to handle and trim. Body 97% perfect with a flea bite size nick to the underside of the spout  see last photo, and a couple of small scratches. 
This is an excellent example, it has been professionally cleaned and ready for use or display.
