This listing is for a vintage H. Bettoney (Boston, MASS) Bb clarinet mouthpiece. It has the simple block letter logo below the lower of two ligature lines. These are said to have been made from Chedeville blanks, although I cannot verify that. This piece is made of hard rubber.

This piece might have been refaced, but I'm really not sure either way, so please check out the pictures and make your own determination. The reason I think it might have been refaced is simply because the tip rail strikes me as rather wide, but it is entirely possible that it was manufactured this way. I don't see any swipe marks on the tip, nor do I see any corresponding widening of the side rails. The tip opening measures 1.2mm (.047").

This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. There are a few ligature scratches/scuffs on the exterior of the body. The rubber shows minor fading/discoloration. It has a brand-new cork. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.
