🎨 Before first use: POSCA markers need to be primed before painting. With the cap on, shake the marker well until you hear the mixing ball rattle. Remove the cap and gently press the tip up and down on a scrap piece of paper several times until the paint flows evenly into the nib. Your marker is now ready to use!
The POSCA PC-5M features a 1.8–2.5 mm medium bullet tip, making it the most versatile marker in the POSCA range.
The durable bullet tip produces clean, controlled lines while also covering larger areas with ease, making it a favorite among professional artists, illustrators, designers, and creative makers alike.
Filled with high-quality, water-based acrylic paint, POSCA markers produce rich, opaque color that is quick drying, highly blendable while wet, and easy to layer once dry. Colors can also be diluted with water to create transparent washes, soft gradients, and painterly effects.

POSCA's water-based acrylic paint is odorless, alcohol-free, solvent-free, and ACMI-certified non-toxic.
The paint becomes permanent on porous surfaces once dry. On non-porous surfaces such as glass, metal, and plastic, a clear sealer is recommended for maximum durability.
Please note: POSCA is gradually eliminating the plastic shrink wrap from individual markers. Many markers now arrive unwrapped directly from the manufacturer but are brand new and unused.
