By using a minting technique where design elements are literally cut out of the coin.  Africa’s most famous animals are presented including this coin which features a close-up encounter with a springbok - an antelope found mainly in south and southwest Africa.  The obverse features the coat of arms of Djibouti.  Mintage is limited to 7,500 coins. HST/GST Exempt.
