An unusual oak box complete with paneling and top opening lid. This box is more akin in style to a blanket box but is table top sized! It has three panels to the front and stands on four legs that are extensions of the two side pieces. The top is hinged with brass fittings and reveals a spacious interior. The oak wood has been stained to bring out the grain. This would be perfect for a doll or teddy bear to sit on like a chest, or for storing special keepsakes in. It would make a lovely 5th wedding anniversary gift (wood) or housewarming present.

This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. Overall this box is in excellent condition with no major chips or cracks. Please see photos for details. There is some white paint to one corner where it has been against a wall.
