Philip Morris, founder of Morris Costumes and grandfather of Dr. Evil Inc.’s owner, publicly maintained that he sold Roger Patterson the gorilla suit connected to the famous 1967 Patterson–Gimlin film. His account remains part of one of cryptozoology’s longest-running debates.
