Obverse: Crowned facing bust with pinecone and mascles in legend. Lettering: + hEnRIC DI GRA REX AnGL’ Z FRAnC

Translation: Henry by the Grace of God King of England and France.

Reverse: Long cross pattée, with trefoil in each quarter. Lettering: + POSVI DEVm ADIVTORE mEVm VIL LA CALI SIE. Translation: I have made God my Helper Town of Calais.
