A rare and complete antique German maritime masthead lantern (Schiffslaterne), sourced or serviced by the legendary Hamburg ship chandler Chr. Weimeister Eisenkrämerei — one of Germany’s most storied maritime hardware suppliers, established in 1908 near the famous Hamburg Landungsbrücken. This example is especially desirable as it retains both its original oil lamp and a rare sliding blue signal color filter — a combination that is increasingly difficult to find intact.
