A piece of the Great Gold Curtain from the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. The original curtain was blue, but this curtain was added in 1905 and used until 1940 when it was repaced with another gold curtain and used through the final season in 1965.

These bookmarks were used to help save the "Met" and were sent to a Museum by a friend of Mrs. Schaffner, Patrick. V. Greene.

Also included are two period ticket book stubs.
