Job lot of 10 original antique Victorian and Edwardian photographs, featuring men, women, children and family groups in a variety of studio portraits.

The collection includes cabinet cards and larger mounted photographs, with some particularly attractive period clothing, including elaborate Victorian dresses, a young girl holding flowers and several family and individual portraits.

Several have photographer details or decorative studio backs, including Bennett & Son of Worcester & Malvern and E. Hawkins of Bath & Brighton. One also has an interesting decorative printed reverse featuring various crests and exhibition awards.

A lovely mixed collection for anyone interested in Victorian social history, genealogy, costume, photography or antique ephemera. All are being sold together as one lot and are exactly as shown in the photographs.

Condition

Antique used condition with age-related wear throughout. There is fading, foxing, spotting, discolouration, surface marking and wear to the mounts. Some backs are blank while others have photographer's advertising or period markings. One mount shows heavier staining and wear to the reverse.
