This vintage French military three piece metal mess tin is the classic Model 1935 infantry mess kit issued to the French Army (Armée de Terre) during the Second World War.The aluminum body has the manufacturers stamp M.M.T. Tournus on the base. The hand painted red initials V.L belonged to a serving soldier who personalized his field gear. It is good used condition with minor surface scratches consistent with age and service as shown in the photos and revolving video.
