Cube shaped planter by Dunbar Furniture of Berne, Indiana. Original metal tag present on the bottom. Lovely grain on the veneer, likely an Ed Wormley design.
14 1/8" square, 16 1/4" tall.
Good shape overall, displays pretty well as found. Solid joints, tight corners, sturdy with zero wobble or play, no cracks. As shown in many close ups this does show typical signs of age and handling. Mostly along the bottom edge and feet. Some bottom corners show bruising and minor veneer loss, a few small edge 'chips' of veneer. One of the interior sides of a foot shows and old repair of a piece of veneer that must have chipped off-the line is still visible. The sides and top of the planter have moderate signs of age only, overall the finish is quite good but a few light scratches or rubs. The interior shows some dark staining around the top edge. There are moderate wear and signs of age inside, mostly along the corners.
