Prepare the natural nail by removing any previous coating, pushing back and trimming the cuticle, shaping the nail, and lightly buffing the surface.
Clean and dehydrate the nail plate using a nail cleanser or nail prep solution. If needed, apply an acid-free primer (Ultrabond) to improve adhesion.
Apply a thin layer of Komilfo Color Base French HEMA/TPO Free. For additional strength and perfect leveling, build the apex using the bead/drop technique if desired.
Cure in a UV or LED lamp according to your lamp manufacturer's recommended curing time.
Apply two thin coats of Komilfo gel polish, curing each layer separately. Remember to cap the free edge with every layer, including the base and top coat.
Finish with a Komilfo Top Coat and cure completely.
Complete the manicure by applying cuticle oil for hydration and a professional finish.
Professional Tip: If using the base as a strengthening layer, the inhibition (sticky) layer may be removed before applying color to enhance gel polish adhesion when preferred by your application technique.
