Joe Taylor’s Don’t Be Lonely, Lone Ranger, is fun to figger out for yourself, so far from me to figger it out for ya. You want spoilers? You’re not gonna get them here!

BUT

The story may make you wonder where it’s going, but the Lone Ranger’s quest DOES follow the most basic formula for all stories. And you know what that is, right? Think about it. More clues at the end of this review.

And here’s a question for you. Why no exclamation points in the title? That’s really important. Or unimportant. Or both. Or neither.

Another hint: Five characters- Lone Ranger, Ta Ta, Margery, Homeless, and Coyote - in search of what? Or who(m)? What if there were six? Six characters in search of?

Which is a better typing test? “Now is the time for all . . .” or “the quick brown fox jumped over . . .” Try them both. Really important. Or not.

And what’s with all the ellipses? Goes back to the exclamation point quest(ion).

Another hint: the book’s formula is BMG/BLG/BGG.

And what about the guy named Joe, who lives in a house by the side of the road, and is a friend to man? Why does he turn up in the last page or so?

What was the real silver bullet Lone Ranger’s quest? Wasn’t it to bring something and something or in other words, something that starts with “J” to some place that rhythms with quest?

And did the writer who perfected that formula I been talking about have the initials “J. A.”?

And if you like quests like the Lone Ranger’s maybe read Kenneth Patchen and HPL not to say PKD.
