This antique French plant stand has been repurposed from a large solid oak wine press screw. The thick spiraled column has the original sturdy circular base for support and a removable circular top with a metal screw that seems to have been added later.The heavy pedestal remains in good solid condition with some water staining on the top (from previous use with flowers and plants) as shown in the photos.
