Description

We have a 1931 handbook "Rules and Regulations for Traffic Employees" for sale in fair order and condition. Issued by "The Municipal Tramways Trust Adelaide", it measures 122mm in width and is comprised of 120 pages plus indices. There are pencil written dated notes on numerous pages, most striking out rules/regulations that perhaps had changed or become redundant. The cover has staining to lower right predominantly, all pages are intact. Interesting reading of the rules and regulations for tram workers 95 years ago; daily inspections, expected allowable life of a uniform, how to wash your uniform to prevent shrinkage, passing gongs. Instructions are included for Signalmen, Motormen and Conductors.

Payment

Payment must be received within five days of auction end, unless other arrangement's have been made. If payment has not been received in that period, the item will be re-listed and a non-paying bidder complaint filed with eBay.

Shipping

I take care with packing. Small items such as badges are posted using bubble envelopes. Larger items are bubble wrapped and boxed with loose fill. I add $1.00 to the postage charge to help cover the cost of buying materials. All items, International and within Australia, are now posted with tracking as encouraged by eBay. Please advise prior to payment. I post everyday and tracking details will be provided each evening.
