Marion Hutton – Signed Sepia Publicity Portrait Glenn Miller Orchestra Vocalist (c.1939–43)

A warm sepia publicity photograph signed by Marion Hutton (1919–1987), the celebrated featured vocalist of the Glenn Miller Orchestra during its peak swing‑era years. Hutton joined Miller in 1938 and became the band’s principal “girl singer,” appearing on countless broadcasts, stage engagements and film shorts throughout the early 1940s.

The autograph is clean and well‑placed across the lower portion of the image — a textbook example of her period signature. Signed portraits of Hutton are notably scarcer than those of Hollywood actresses of the same era, as her fame was rooted in big‑band performance rather than studio publicity.

  • Marion Hutton (Mar 1919 – Jan 1987) was an American singer and actress. She is best remembered for her singing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra from 1938 to 1942. She was the sister of actress and singer Betty Hutton.
