I am selling off some of my stash of unbuilt model airplane kits. Up for auction is a Rare Plane Vacforms 1/72 Republic P-47N Thunderbolt. The kit is complete with instructions and it is still in the plastic sheet. This is all vacuformed parts, there are no photo etch, metal, resin or injected plastic parts in this kit. It also includes Super Scale Decal Sheet #72-742, which has markings for 2 P-47N,s. One is P-47N-1-RE #44-88020 "Red-E-Ruth", #33 in the early type markings of the 19th FS, 318th FG, on Ie Shima during 1945 and was flown by Lt. Leon Cox. Second is P-47N-1-RE #44-88313 "The Shell Pusher", #107 of the 463rd FS, 507th FG, also on Ie Shima during 1945 and was flown by Lt. Robert Forest. Refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions.
