Here we have a large signed yellow ware fruit mold.  There is an assortment of fruit, berries and leaves in the bottom of the mold with rings of fluted elements up to the rim. The mold is oval measuring 10 ½” in length, 8 ¼” wide and 4 ¼” in height.  The mold is in near mint condition with only minor wear to the rim that doesn’t detract.  The underside is impressed “HOGANAS” and the mold pattern number “53”.  Hoganas is known for their large well defined molds.  A similar mold is shown in Lisa McAllister’s Collector’s Guide to Yellow Ware Book II on page 37.
