I am selling off some of my stash of unbuilt model airplane kits. Up for auction is Heller #282, which is their 1/72 scale Supermarine Spitfire XVIe (from 1979 according to Scalemates). The kit comes complete with instructions and decals in an open box. The sturdy box is in very good condition, there is a mark on one end flap where a sticker was removed and it shows shelf wear on the corners and edges. The plastic is complete, everything but the clear parts is still on the sprue and in its original opened plastic bag. The assembly instructions are in excellent condition. However they are in French, with written history, assembly instructions, technical data and parts list in multiple languages on the back and a second sheet. The decal sheet is old but looks to be in excellent condition, there is no signs of cracking, drying or water damage but there is some yellowing. It has markings for 2 aircraft, 1-unpainted #RW396(incorrectly shown in the box art as RW996), F-JWL of the RAF Central Gunnery School during 1948, and 2-a green and gray over light gray camouflaged aircraft with an overpainted serial number D-GE of the 349th Belgian Squadron at Fassburg during 1945-46. Refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions. I do allow free local pickup(in Tucson and Sedona) and if you win multiple auctions/purchases I will combine shipping. Remember in many locations in the US eBay will collect sales tax on this item.
