This is a tough set to build, and it’s getting harder to find albums that still have all the better dates in place. This one has them.
Date range: 1858–1920 Canadian Large Cents (Victoria, Edward VII, George V)
Album number: 9061 (original blue board with black spine strips)
Condition of album: Used with honest shelf wear, scuffs and small marks, but solid and complete; all ports are intact and labeled.
Coins: Circulated grades overall – mostly Good to Fine, a few nicer pieces. All dates are present and fully visible; no culls or holes.
From what can be seen in hand and in the photos, the album includes these important dates (all present and readable):
1858 – first year of issue, low mintage and a key to the series.
1888 – better date. (Have 2 second in Obverse slot.)
1890H – scarcer “H” (Heaton mint) issue.
1891 Large Date and 1891 Small Date – both varieties are represented in this album.
1893, 1894, 1895, 1896, 1897, 1898H, 1900, 1900H, 1901 – desirable late-Victoria issues. * 1907 H nice low mintage coin
Full Edward VII run 1902–1910.
Full George V run 1911–1920
