I was fortunate recently to be able to acquire a good collection of antique & vintage sterling silver cycling prize fob medals dating from the 1890s up to the 1960s. I am now putting these medals up for auction at very reasonable starting prices (ofter below the sterling silver scrap price) but with a Buy it Now option for anyone who does not wish to wait.

This example is:

A sterling silver & enamel cycling medal relating to the Portsmouth & District Cycling Association from 1910.

The front of the medal depicts the Portsmouth Crest picked out in blue enamel. It is embossed:

"P. & D. C. A."

The obverse is engraved:

"NORTH END WEDNESDAY C.C. 1910. F. MARTIN"

Sterling Silver Medal: Weight: 12.7 gm. Width: 33 mm. Height (excluding ring): 41 mm. Hall Mark: Birmingham 1910. Maker's Mark: Fattorini & Sons.

Summary: As can be seen from the photos this is an attractive & collectable vintage sterling silver cycling fob medal. Good luck!

NOTE: Please see my other listings of sterling silver cycling medals. If more than one medal is purchased please wait until you receive an invoice before paying as I am happy to combine postage.
