I am selling off some of my stash of model airplane kits. Up for auction is Academy #12492, which is their 1/72 scale Republic P-47D Thunderbolt”Razorback” from 2019. The kit is new and still sealed in its original plastic wrap. The kit has markings for 2 USAAF aircraft, both in olive drab over neutral gray. First is P-47D-6-RE unknown serial number, flown by Lt Cecil O. Dean , coded #17 of the 317th FS, 325th FG, at Foggia, Italy during Spring 1944. Second is P-47D-21-RA #43-22514, “Anna Louise”, flown by Lt. A. H. Rainbow, coded AB-P of the 391sr FS, 366th FG in France Düring Late 1944. Refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions.
